How to Enter a New CRADA


Begin by navigating to the CRADA data entry screen through the Multi Year tab.


Near the bottom right hand corner of the screen click the "+ Add CRADA" button



Using the new data entry row fill in the relevant values for each column. Note that only the CRADA Number, NIH Fund, and CAN are required fields. 


When you are finished click Save


How to Search/Find a CRADA


From the CRADA Data Entry Screen (found under the multi year tab) use the filters from the top of the page. 


The filters for Division / Branches / Status Per File / Can Status are dropdowns populated with data from the list of CRADA's. When a selection is made from this dropdown the data will roload with that filter.


If you check mark the Duplicate CANs checkbox this will filter out only the CANs that are found more than once in the data set.


The next two search boxes are fitlers for the CRADA number or the CAN number. Remember to click Filter after entering a CRADA or CAN number. 


Click Clear Filters to start your search over. 

How to Edit an Existing CRADA


From the CRADA Data Entry Screen (found under the multi year tab) find the CRADA that needs to be edited by scrolling through the rows or using the search functions

Click the edit row icon for the CRADA to be edited


Make the necessary changes to the row and click save.


How to add a Second CAN to a Single CRADA


 From the CRADA Data Entry Screen (found under the multi year tab) click the "Add a New CAN row" icon

This will create a new data entry row directly below the original CRADA. Data tied to the CRADA fund will be copied to the new row. This includes the CRADA number and Fund Status per File. Rows labeled with (CAN) will not be copied and will have unique values for the new CAN. 


How to Delete a CRADA


From the CRADA Data Entry Screen (found under the multi year tab) click the X icon next to the row you need to delete. 

If the X icon is not found next to the CRADA row you will first need to delete the collections data associated with the CRADA. Click the $ icon to find the CRADA collections.


How to Enter a New Collection


From the CRADA Data Entry Screen (found under the multi year tab) find the CRADA that you will be entering a Collections for and click the $ icon 


From the new Collections data entry screen click the +Add New button to begin entering a new Collections

This will allow the bottom row to become editable to enter in a new Collection amount. Fill in the data for each column and click Save.

The CAN will be prepopulated based on the CRADA number you selected from the previous screen

The Period FY is the year the check was collected.

The Task Number is the task number the collections will fund for the CRADA balance report. 

NOTE: If the new collection has been allotted and is available to spend please use the drop down to change the Allotement status from Pending to Alloted. 


How to Edit an Existing Collection


From the Collections data entry screen (reached by clicking the $ icon from the CRADA data entry screen) click on the edit row icon next to the Collection to be edited.
