Why is an employee highlighted in yellow?
Any unofficial planning record is highlighted in pale yellow on the main position list. This is intended to easily alert users of planning records or records that have not merged to an official source.
Why do I not see an employee record?
- Check your filter list for reasons they were excluded
- Has the employee record been downloaded yet? For FTE employees Beacon downloads new records the Thursday after their first payroll.
- Planned NTE date: The employees record has a Planned NTE date in the past that is excluding them
- Permission issues: You may not have access to an admin code. Reach out to support@netcomm.net for help.
Why does the data for an employee look different?
- Verify that you are viewing official or Beacon modifiable data. Beacon often keeps two pieces of data for the same field for an employee. For example, the official Admin code may be HN1 but the entry has been modified in Beacon to be HN1C. This will result in different results when viewing data by Offical or Modifiable.
- Check the employee audit log from the employee record
- Check with support@netcomm.net if there has been a download issue.
