Beacon HR Administrators will be responsible for assigning Senior Investigators to different organizations. This will be managed in the Senior Investigators section of the Administration Module. Before an employee can be part of the Senior Investigators look-up table, they must be flagged as a Senior Investigator on the Supplemental page.
First, navigate to the Supplemental page of a Senior Investigators current position page in the Positions module. Flag the position as a Senior Investigator position and click “Save”.
Navigate to the Manage Senior Investigators page (click the blue Administration tab, click “Senior Investigators” from the Administration menu).
To designate the Senior Investigator a an organization, click on theicon. Then select the employee’s name from the Employee dropdown. Choose an organization from the organization dropdown.
Note: If you select a parent organization, that employee will be designated the senior investigator of that organization, and any of it’s children organizations. So if an employee is assigned as the Senior Investigator of HNZ2, they will be designated the Senior Investigator of HNZ2, HNZ21, HNZ22, and so forth.
Add any necessary descriptions and click the + sign to add the employee as a potential Senior Investigator for Beacon HR users to tie positions to.
